I know that all parents and students are well aware of the exciting news that Holy Family Catholic Academy is joining the Wellspring Academy Trust. This is a very exciting time and there is an extremely positive atmosphere around the academy as a result of this news.

I am delighted that Mark Wilson the Chief Executive Officer of the Wellspring Academy Trust is contributing to our Easter newsletter. Mark and his team have already been working hard with the academy to ensure a smooth transition for all students. I believe that joining the Wellspring Academy Trust gives us the platform to move onto the next level in the on-going development of the academy. I am very confident that the academy will retain our unique ethos which I believe sets us apart from other providers.

All visitors to the academy are extremely impressed with the calm learning environment and student’s engagement in all lessons. Despite this busy time, it is very much business as usual with all staff firmly focused on teaching and student progress. The newsletter reflects this busy term with the academy reaching regional nals in sports (table tennis, curling and dodgeball) and performing arts (Global Rock Challenge).

Finally, I wish all our students, parents and carers a very happy Easter and look forward to welcoming the students back to the academy on Tuesday 25 April.
