In line with the government’s change to the progress measure in 2016, HFCA is reporting its overall Progress 8 score, which measures progress made by all students in all subjects from their different starting points.
We are delighted to report a progress 8 score of +0.24. This figure is substantially above the floor target of -0.5 and well above the expected progress figure of zero and demonstrates that students at Holy Family Catholic Academy make better than expected progress.
Again this year we are delighted to have supported individual students to achieve in excess of their expected outcomes with an increasing number of students passing all of their subjects at grades A*-A.
These results confirm Holy Family Catholic Academy position as a Good school where all students irrespective of their background or ability are supported to achieve beyond their expectations
